MEDIA - Ipswich community rallies around family of footballer

Jesse Zampech was a proud member of Norths Tigers since he was just six years old, so when he was involved in a devastating accident that has left him fighting for his life, the community rallied around him and his young family.

Jesse has been in the Intensive Care Unit undergoing treatment for significant swelling of the brain. Unfortunately, his family were told that his prognosis is not what they hoped and prayed for, and they are now preparing for the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye to a man who means so much to so many.

As Teigan, Jesse's fiancé, prepares to navigate life while carrying the immense weight of grief, she needs help to support her and their children, Zion and Indy, with everyday living expenses, funeral and memorial costs, and stability as they begin to rebuild their lives after this tragic loss.

The Ipswich community has stepped up to provide that help, with over 740 individuals donating a total of over $105,500, which will make a significant difference for Jesse's family during this difficult time.
